Reverse: short voided cross with letters C R V X in angles and +AELFRIC M-O SVDB legend for the moneyer Aelfric at Sudbury mint. Ex Westbrook Collection; Lockdales 76, Lot 738. S. 1148; N. 770. Good very fine with surface split to centre. This moneyer is attributed by some authorities to Southwark (Suthgew/Suthbyrh) mint but the mint signature of SVDB is more likely to be Sudbury (Suthbury).
