Bronze, 5.60 grams, 22.85 mm. London. 293-296 AD. Obverse: IMP C ALLECTVS PF AVG, radiate and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: PROVID AVG, Providentia standing left, holding baton and cornucopiae, globe at foot; S-A across fields; mintmark ML in exergue. RIC V-2, 35; cf Sear (1988) 3589. Very fine/near extremely fine. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
