Amlash Bronze Age ‘Type 1’ Tanged Spearhead
Copper-alloy, 160 grams, length 237 mm. 1200-1100 BC. An Amlash Type 1 spearhead with a leaf-shaped blade, rectangular-section midrib, expanding shaft and narrowing rectangular-section tang. The surface has been professionally conserved. Reference: Khorasani, M.M. Arms and Armour from Iran. The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period, Tubingen, 2006, catalogue no. 279, 280.
