Unique Unpublished Anglo-Saxon Aethelred II of Northumbria 'LEOFDEGN Type' Styca
Copper-alloy, 1.20 grams, 11.50 mm. First reign, circa 830-circa 843/4 AD. Probably one of Leofdegn's 'Special' motif types. Obverse: small cross in crescent boat with blundered legend around.
