Lead, 9.79 grams, 26.48 mm. 9th-10th century AD. A developed form of nummular brooch, imitating early coins with radiating diadems. The present example appears to be a second-generation or later copy as the bust has been simplified to a group of geometric shapes with radiating lines extending to the border. Reference: cf.
