Silver, 2.92 grams, 77.50 mm. 8th century AD. The pin has a flat, tongue-shaped head connected by a rectangular collar to the shaft, which has a bulbous ‘rib’ 21 mm from the point. The upper portion of the head has radiate detailing and a Trewhiddle Style zoomorph.
