Anglo-Scandinavian / Viking 'Openwork' Strap End
Copper-alloy, 20.07 grams, 53.15 mm. 10th-11th century AD. A cast tongue-shaped strap end of Class E1 comprising a thick border and symmetrical internal foliage in openwork. The flat upper flange is pierced with three attachment holes. Reference: Thomas, G.
