Rare Anglo-Scandinavian / Viking 'Cross Pattee' Conical Embedded Weight
Lead and copper-alloy, 12.07 grams, 16.10 mm dia. at base. 8th-11th century AD. A Viking conical lead weight with embedded copper-alloy stud, with serrated outer edge and incised cross pattee in the domed centre. Reference: Kruse, S.
