Copper-alloy, 30.3 grams, 43.65 mm. Circa 11th century AD. A cast copper-alloy stirrup mount with openwork design surrounding a central beast-head modelled in the half-round with projecting lobe ears. Traces of a scrolled linear design remain on the plate.
