Silver, 1.16 grams; 13.57 mm. Imitating Constantinople. 383-395 AD. Obverse: DN ARCADI-VS PF AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: VOT X MVLT XX, in four lines within wreath. The uneven engraving of the legends, rough hair lines, unnatural eye and nose and overly large lettering on the reverse are signs of this being an ancient imitation. The X shape in the binding at the bottom of the wreath suggest that it is an imitation of issues from Constantinople. Imitative of RIC IX Constantinople 77e/87b. Good very fine.
