Flint, 105 grams, 167 mm. Circa 3,000 BC. A finely flaked, unusually attractive dagger of tan and brown flint with a lentoid grip and straight tapering blade, remarkably preserved. Reference: McAlpine, Lord A. Antiquities from Europe and the Near East 1987, p.79-80. A superb example, old repair to tip. Provenance: property of a Gentleman; found East Anglia in the early 1980s.
