Very Rare British 'Qc Variant' Gold Quarter Stater
Gold, 0.83 grams; 10.81 mm. Obverse: head or wreath pattern; line crossed by two pellet lines and triplets, below two joined crescents with pellets in cusps. Reverse: horse right; pellets in front, above and below; spoked wheel above; pellet and wheel below. Celtic Coin Index Registration Number at Oxford University: CCI 08.9706. VA -, BMC 568-570. Good very fine.
