Copper-alloy, 230 grams, 410 mm. Circa 12th-9th century BC. A broad leaf-shaped blade with a thick, square-section midrib. The top of the blade expands and develops inward-curving lateral flanges; the midrib continues to form a round-section tang; the top of the blade is scooped on either side. Reference: Khorasani, M.M.
