Bronze Age 'Carinated' Bowl
Ceramic, 110 grams, 37 mm. Circa 2250-1950 BC. A pink buffware bowl with hemispherical interior and carinated exterior profile with a row of bulbs on the ridge. The base is small and discoid. The inner and outer surfaces are partially covered with a calcareous plaster accretion. Reference: cf. Amiran, R. Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, 1969 p.48(3). Very fine condition.
