Bronze, 51.03 grams, 13.29 cm. Middle European, 800-500 BC. A bronze sickles formed as a curved casting with one flat face, strengthening ribs to the outside of the curve, edge to the inside and knop for attachment at one end. Very fine condition. Provenance: property of a European gentleman living in the UK; formerly in a private collection formed in the 1990s.
