Celtic Iron Age 'Suspended' Awl
Copper-alloy, 12.40 grams, 59.20 mm. A square-section awl narrowing to a round-section point, with transverse piercing for suspension; traces of ferrous corrosion in the aperture imply that the awl was in use in the Iron Age although the type is often found in Bronze Age contexts.
