Ceramic, 395 grams, 7 cm each. 15th century AD. A group of ceramic creamware vessels comprising three small lidded pots, each with a blue painted landscape scene to the lid; labels to the undersides. Fine condition, one with repaired lid. Provenance: ex From the Hoi An shipwreck, with labels, the Hoi An shipwreck was found by fishermen in the early 1990s. The ship was carrying a large quantity of Vietnamese ceramics from the mid- to late-15th century.
