Chinese Ming Dynasty 'Bell-Based' Pedestal Lamp
Ceramic, 380 grams, 12.25 cm. Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD. A ceramic lamp formed with a broad dished cup, balustered stem and bell-shaped base; the upper base, cup and stem with green glaze, the inner cup and base with ochre glaze, basal rim and underside of the cup unglazed.
