Silver, 2.01 grams, 12.50 mm. Cherronesos, Thrace. Circa 400-350 AD. Obverse: forepart of lion right, head reverted. Reverse: quadripartite incuse square with dot over AG monogram in one quarter and cicada in the opposing quarter. McClean 4093; SNG Berry 503; Sear Greece 1602-1606 var (symbols). Very fine.
