Bronze, 16.85 grams, 34.77 mm. Rome. 41-50 AD. Obverse: NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP, bare head of Claudius' father left. Reverse: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG PM TR P IMP, Claudius, bare-headed and togate, seated left on curule chair, holding out branch with right hand, miscellaneous weapons and armour strewn around.
