Bronze, 3.24 grams, 18.33 mm. Trier. 324-325 AD. Obverse: CONSTAN-TINVS AVG, laureate head right. Reverse: PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG, campgate, six layers, two turrets, star above, mintmark STR in exergue. RIC VII Trier 449; cf Sear 3878. Note: There are two series of the Constantine Trier RIC 449 campgates: the first has a rounded eyebrow on the bust and a five layer campgate, the second (this coin type) has an arched eyebrow and a six layer campgate.
