Bronze, 3.33 grams, 19.29 mm. Cyzicus. 326-327 AD. Obverse: CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left (laurels resembling pearl diadem because of the engraving style of Cyzicus). Reverse: PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS, campgate, 2 turrets, 6 layers, star above, no doors. Mintmark dot SMK gamma dot in exergue. RIC VII Cyzicus 47; cf Sear (1988) 3948. Extremely fine.
