Corieltauvi 'South Ferriby Type' AR Unit
Silver, 1.21 grams, 13.79 mm. Late 1st Century BC. Corieltauvian D. Obverse: almost plain, vestiges of boar visible. Reverse: more stylised horse right, upper portion of horses legs comprised of two lines; large ring of pellets above horse. VA. 877-3 - 877-7; S. 397. [Van Arsdell classified this coin as very rare]. Very fine with a nice clear horse. Found Lincolnshire.
