Copper Alloy, 0.60 grams; 12.77 mm. Circa 843/4-855 A.D. Obverse: Blundered legend of Eardwulf around a cross of pellets. Reverse: Blundered legend of Eardwulf around a central cross. Recorded with the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University as: EMC 2008.0295. S -. Very fine. Found Grimsby, North East Lincs.

Dr Martin Allen at the Fitzwilliam Museum writes: "A derivative (with double reverse copying coins of moneyer Eardwulf?)"
