Durotriges British B 'Chute Type' Gold Stater
Gold, 5.22 grams, 18.44 mm. Durotrigan A. Circa 65-58 BC. Obverse: abstract head of Apollo right, spike with long crescent and leaves of wreath point downwards. Reverse: disjointed horse left with crab comprising of pellet with four wavy lines below and pellets above. Celtic Coin Index Registration Number at Oxford University: CCI 09.30348.
