Silver, 1.13 grams, 11.78 mm. Continental, Series E, Variety C; 695-740 AD. Obverse: degenerate bust or quilled crescent with triangular 'head' and small cross in front. Reverse: standard with central annulet and various symbols including a cross and with uncertain 'lettering' around. S. 790C; N. 45; M. 223 (generally similar); Abramson E190 (similar). About as struck.
