Silver, 0.62 grams, 19.85 mm. 975-978 AD. Obverse: [+EAD]PEARD REX A[NGLO], small diademed bust left. Reverse: +PIN[E O CAEN]To for Wine at Canterbury mint, around small cross in centre. N. 763; S. 1142. About extremely fine. Only one example of this moneyer recorded on the Early Medieval Coin Corpus at the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge University: EMC 2008.206. A cheap example of a coin from an extremely rare monarch.
