Egyptian 'Double Lion' Amulet
Glazed powdered quartz composite (faience), 0.38 grams, 10.88 mm. Late Dynastic Period, 27th dynasty, Circa 525-343 BC. A glazed green amulet in the form of the addorsed foreparts of two lions reclining on a plinth. Provided with a suspension loop above. Reference: Flinders Petrie, W.M.
