Composition, 42 grams, 104 mm. Late Period, 664-332 BC. A pale blue shabti with tripartite wig and false beard, agricultural tools held in the crossed hands, square base and dorsal pillar, hieroglyphic text to the lower body. Reference: Stewart, Harry, Egyptian Shabtis, 1995. Fine condition. Provenance: from a collection of Egyptian artefacts formed in the late 1970s and early 1980s; property of a London gentleman.
