Egyptian 'Lotus Flower' Amulet
Glazed powdered quartz composite (faience), 0.85 grams, 10.24 mm. New Kingdom, 18th-19th Dynasties (1550-1070 BC). A dark green amulet in the form of a truncated cone with fluted sides representing the lotus flower. Floral amulets were symbolic of regeneration and resurrection. Reference: Andrews, C.
