Egyptian 'Saltire' Amulet
Glazed powdered quartz composite (faience), 0.17 grams, 9.23 mm. 12th dynasty to Ptolemaic periods (1991 BC to 30 BC). A pale green amulet in the form of a flat-section bar pierced longitudinally for suspension, with corrugated edges and incised bilinear saltires on the broad faces.
