Flint, 91 grams, 87 mm. Circa 3,000 BC. A flaked knife or scraper of brown flint, deeply age patinated, showing signs of gravel terrace rounding, shows signs of use in antiquity. Reference: McAlpine, Lord A. Antiquities from Europe and the Near East, 1987. Very fine condition. Provenance: ex private collection; found west bank of the Nile, Thebes, Egypt, in the late 19th century.
