Egyptian 'Wedjat' Amulet
Faience, 0.46 grams, 12.83 mm. Late Dynastic Period, circa 715-332 BC. A deep turquoise wedjat with black brow-band and pupil. The symbol is also known as the 'Eye of Horus' and represents the right eye of the falcon-headed god. A transverse piercing allows suspension. Reference: Andrews, C.
