Egyptian 'Wedjat' Bead Necklace
Faience, 10.99 grams, 49 cm. Mainly 11th-10th century BC, 3rd Intermediate Period (21st-25th Dynasties). A restrung necklace of disc and tubular beads in white, cream, leaf-green and blue-green faience with central motif of the wedjat or 'eye of Horus' in blue-green faience with white and black detailing.
