Silver, 11.71 grams, 26.06 mm. Ephesos, Ionia. Year 66 (69/68 BC). Obverse: Cista mystica with half-open lid, from which a serpent issues, all within ivy wreath. Reverse: two coiled serpents with heads erect, ear of corn between two crossed cornucopiae above, race torch in right field; year mark XC above EFE to left. BMC 170; cf Sear 4399 (field marks and year). Very fine.
