Silver, 0.87 grams, 12.99 mm. Lyons. 392-395 AD. Obverse: (DN EVG)ENI-)VS PF AVG, bearded, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Reverse: VRBS-ROMA, Roma, seated left on cuirass, holding Victory on globe and inverted spear with barb; the coin was originally marked with LVGPS in the exergue. RIC IX Lyons 46. Usual clipping, extremely fine bust of Eugenius with original lustre. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
