Brass, 220 grams, 114 mm wide. Circa 18th century AD. Of solid cast brass forming the 'T' of a carriage door handle, with part of the iron shaft present. The main crossbar ornamented with moulded lines and terminating at each end in a foliage 'capital' with incised ornament. Very fine condition. An unusual item.
