Greek Apulian 'Bifurcated Handle' Black-Glazed Oinochoe
Ceramic, 145 grams, 88.71 mm. Circa 4th century BC. An Apulian oinochoe or wine-cup in black glaze with sharply everted rim and slender bifurcated handle running to the shoulder, the body globular, the foot stepped. Good very fine condition, complete. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Apulia, Magna Graecia, South-eastern Italy.
