Greek Apulian 'Broad Handle' Black-Glazed Oinochoe
Ceramic, 115 grams, 80.05 mm. Circa 4th century BC. An Apulian oinochoe or wine-cup in black glaze with sharply everted rim and broad handle running to the shoulder, the body globular, the foot inset. Very fine condition, complete. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Apulia, Magna Graecia, South-eastern Italy.
