Greek Apulian 'Everted Rim' Black-Glazed Aryballos
Ceramic, 180 grams, 104.78 mm. Circa 4th century BC. An Apulian aryballos in black glaze with tall neck and sharply everted rim, the slender looped handle emerging from the shoulder; concentric rings decorating the rimand shoulder; the handle with two longitudinal ribs. Very fine condition, complete. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Apulia, Magna Graecia, South-eastern Italy.
