Ceramic, 135 grams, 107.25 mm. Circa 4th century BC. An Apulian oinochoe in black glaze with a single looped handle, trefoil rim, globular belly and stepped foot, decorated in red ochre with radiating bars on the shoulder above a band of leaf motifs on the body. Extremely fine condition, complete. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Apulia, Magna Graecia, South-eastern Italy.
