Rare Greek Apulian 'Owl' Black-Glazed Skyphos
Ceramic, 130 grams, 72.90 mm. Circa 4th century BC. An Apulian skyphos in black glaze with two looped handles and stepped foot, decorated in red ochre with a facing owl amid vegetation on both faces. Some restoration but in very fine condition, complete. Provenance: from an old English collection, found Apulia, Magna Graecia, South-eastern Italy.
