Ceramic, 70 grams, 82.58 mm. 3rd-2nd century BC. A wheel-turned oil lamp made in good quality ceramic with cream-grey surface coating, most of which is still present. The lamp is modelled with a flattened base and slightly dished pierced centre on the upper surface. The nozzle features a large wick aperture, with a flat upper profile. Lightly incised circular patterning may be from the manufacturing process. The profile is facetted at the equator and around the upper perforation.
