Kushan-Islamic 'Socketed' Spearhead
Iron, 230 grams, 310.52 mm. Circa 1st-2nd century AD. Iron spearhead with a round tapering socket, this is then squared off and detailed with serrated edges just below the join with the blade. The blade has curved shoulders and a long shaft that tapers to a point with a slightly raised midrib. A very well preserved piece in good very fine condition. Ex old English collection.
