Silver, 14.61 grams, 27.46 mm. Uncertain mint in Macedonia. 323-281 BC. Obverse: no legend, diademed head of Alexander III right, wearing horn of Ammon. Reverse: BASILEWS LUSIMACOU, Athena seated left holding Nike and transverse spear, her left arm resting on shield, HP monogram in left field, strigil (?) beneath seat. Mueller 356; cf Sear 6816. Good very fine. A significant coin which has been published on wildwinds.com
