Silver, 3.76 grams, 18.07 mm. Rome. 116-115 BC. Obverse: ROMA behind, EX S C before helmeted head of Roma right, star behind neck. Reverse: incuse of obverse. (The correctly struck version of this coin would have had M SERGI beneath horseman galloping left, holding sword and head of barbarian, Q in left field. Crawford 286/1; RSC Sergia 1; BMC Italy 512.
