Bronze, 22.55 grams, 32.90 mm. Rome. AD 173. Obverse: M ANTONINVS AVG TR P XXVII, laureate head right. Reverse: IMP VI COS III, Mercury standing left within tetra style temple with herms for columns, semicircular pediment containing a cock and ram; S-C across fields; RELIG AVG in exergue. RIC 1075; Cohen 535; Sear 4996. Very fine/fine, with striking split. Accompanied by an old collection ticket.
