Gold and amethyst, 1.48 grams, 24.39 mm overall (British size Q, USA 8¼, Europe 18.00). 13th - 14th century AD. A plain gold hoop rising to a scalloped bezel with a polished amthyst set en cabochon with two similar miniature settings on the shoulders and granules on the quarters. Reference: Oman, C.C.
