Pewter, 9.12 grams, 39.25 mm. Circa 14th century AD. A cast pewter strap end with crenellated upper edge. The trapezoidal faces are each decorated with trefoils and a cinquefoil on a hatched background. The lower end features an openwork loop design and there are two piercings close to the upper edge.
