Medieval 'Cruciform' Harness Pendant
Copper-alloy, 22.89 grams, 86.06 mm. 12th-15th century AD. A sturdy medieval pendant or harness mount in the form of a cast faceted short-arm cross with central knop and collar forming the attachment rivet. The lower arm is folded around a securing pin which passes through the pierced transverse mounting flange of the separate triangular pendant plate with incised borders.
